O-SHOT (The Female Orgasm Shots)

The Journal of the American Medical Association reports that sexual dysfunction, often considered worse in women than in men, can lead to a lowered sense of well-being that negatively affects the relationships with our sex partners and can even contribute to the disintegration of the family. Sexual disorders not only take the fun out of sex, but better sex also leads to greater energy, more creativity, increased confidence, less depression and improved overall health.

There aren’t many products on the market that are designed to improve women’s sexual experience. The O-Shot, or “orgasm shot,” is a new, non-surgical procedure that treats sexual dysfunction and stimulates the vagina in a way that positively impacts orgasm. 80% to 85% of women respond positively to the procedure.

How does O-shot work?

The procedure uses the patients’ drawn blood to stimulate vaginal and clitoral rejuvenation.

In the same way platelets have been used for stem cell rejuvenation of the face, is the same principle applied here.

Platelets extracted from the blood, or platelet-rich plasma (PRP), are placed in a syringe and injected into an area near the clitoris and an area just inside the vagina — the “o-spot.” Those platelets then stimulate the growth of new collagen, new fatty tissue, and new blood vessels ultimately ‘plumping the clitoris’ and making the vaginal area more sensitive to touch. The O-Shot improves orgasm, libido, and arousal. Additional reported benefits include improvement in painful intercourse and urinary symptoms including urinary incontinence.

A great combination of treatments is performing an O-Shot at the time of Laser Vaginal Tightening (LVT) with a fractional CO2 laser. This is a Laser Enhanced O-Shot (The LEO). This laser component is also available at SKIN101 Center.

How long will the procedure take?

It takes about 30 mins to prepare the platelets. The process of injecting the activated platelets takes less than 5 minutes.

How long does O-shot results last?

Some women have had results that lasted up to 14 months.

When can I resume sex?

Sex can be resumed 24 hours after the procedure is done.

What are the risks and complications of this procedure?

The risks are reduced significantly if procedure is done by trained medical personnel. There will be slight, insignificant bleeding following the injection.
